Well Jesus Christ - the University actually decided to allow us heat for one day this year. It felt approximately 65 degrees when I walked in this morning, and let me tell you, that is a miracle.

Two amazing cities I got to visit this year. I absolutely love them both. I was in Austin in August and it was UNBELIEVABLY hot, and I could never live there because of the heat but the city is just so fun and cultured and awesome. San Francisco’s weather is much more in line with what I like - I would live there in a heartbeat if I could. I’m planning to visit SF again in 2009.

I started taking Pilates classes a few months ago and absolutely love it. The exercises are especially useful for anyone like me who works at a computer all day.

I just love these boots. Right now they are neglected in my closet due to the freakishly warm weather we are having (I am wearing flip flops). Hopefully Jan. and Feb. 2009 will bring some cooler weather so I can wear them more.

After having a kidney stone in January, which was the single most painful thing I have EVER experienced in my life, I now drink approximately 25000 glasses of water a day. Every once in a while I drink lemonade - the acidity in it is good for you in small doses and it sure is tasty.

Even though I’ve had this since summer 2007, I’m including it in this year’s list because I use it so much. I don’t think I would ever run if I didn’t have this technology.

More specifically, peanut butter/banana smoothies. With chocolate-flavored whey protein added, it’s a healthy snack that’s deliciously disguised.
My Top Ten of 2008 - #10: Breast Cancer 3-Day
2008 Breast Cancer 3-Day. I raised over $3,000 for this event (all proceeds go to breast cancer research and treatment) and walked over 60 miles in San Francisco (43 of those miles were with a broken foot!) It was an experience I will never forget, and hope to do in San Diego in 2010.
